Our lakes are one of our city’s greatest treasures. I will:
Keep our lakes clean and protected from pollution
Prevent overfishing and protect fish populations
Support habitat conservation so fish can reproduce and thrive
Use city revenue to maintain parks and natural areas
Strong Support for Local Businesses
Small businesses are the backbone of our city. I will:
Make the first B$2,500 of business income tax-free
Apply only a 5% tax on income above B$2,500
Slow down the decrease of business popularity
Offer financial support for new businesses (purchase discounts funded by city revenue, application required)
Reduce employee costs by actively addressing labor shortages
Fair Tax Plan
To fund environmental protection and business support, I will
Bus fare increases to reduce pollution and generate funding for parks and lake maintenance
5% tax on income above B$2,500
5% tax on expenses under B$10,000
2% tax on expenses above B$10,000
